Crucifix of the Master of Saint Francis
The cross comes from the church of San Francesco al Prato in Perugia, which collapsed in 1317. It is attributed to the Maestro of St. Francis, a great artistic personality who worked in Assisi after Cimabue and before Giotto, and is dated 1272.
